He passed away on June 4, 2013 at Castle Medical Center in Kailua surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones. Stephen was a proud father of four beautiful children: Stephany “Leilo” (Leimamo), Steisha-Love (Nanea), Shaydence and Saydee (Shardean), and will be deeply missed by all of his children. Stephen was 35 years old and lived with his family on the Windward side of Oahu. He is survived by parents Sean and Daphne Dinnan, brother Ian (Robyn), and sisters Christina (David) and Katelyn. Stephen attended Lihue Baptist preschool, Benjamin Parker and Hauula Elementary School and a proud graduate of Kahuku High School class of 1995. LARRY W. HATFIELD Larry W. Hatfield, 71, of Makaha, Hawaii passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013. Raised in Louisville, Kentucky by parents C.Gay and Elouise (Woodring) Hatfield, he served in the U.S. Navy at Barber’s Point Naval Air Station, worked at Kaena Point Satellite Tracking Station and founded Hawaii Hatfield Realty Corp. He is survived by his wife Marie M. Hatfield, Esq., son Bradley K. Hatfield (wife Jamie), daughter Sara Hatfield Galiza (husband Allen), brothers Carroll G. Hatfield (wife Lisa) and Douglas H. ROBERT H. LLOYD Age 64, of Kailua, HI, passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital in Hong Kong on July 6, 2013. Born December 15, 1948 in Aberdeen, Washington, Pastor Rob served the Seventh-day Adventist Church for 42 years, most recently as Executive Secretary and Ministerial Director of the Hawaii Conference of SDA and as Pastor of the Kailua SDA Church since 1992. In his global ministry through ShareHim, he coordinated mission trips the past 12 years to Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, India, Irian Jaya, Kenya, Mexico, Namibia, Rwanda, Uganda and Venezuela. Since 1998, he also served on the Governing Board of Castle Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Harder Lloyd; sons, Jeremy (Heather) and Micah (Dina); daughters, Giana, Oksana and Shavana; brother, Roger; 5 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 6, 5:30 p.m., at Central Union Church (1660 S. Beretania St., Honolulu) with visitation and dinner to follow in the Parish Hall. THOMAS MASAJI OKUMA November 20, 1919 – May 22, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Masaji Okuma, retired minister and professor from Hawaii Loa College, announces his death on May 22, 2013, after a brief hospitalization. He was 93 years old. His beloved wife, Naomi Chafin Okuma and son, David Masaji Okuma preceded him in death.
