KARL HEINZ AH QUIN Karl Heinz Ah Quin, 50, of Wahiawa passed away peacefully at home July 14, 2013. A loving Kane, and closest friend, bestest Daddy in the whole wide world our jack of All trades, hardest worker we know our protector, care giver, provider and go-to guy priceless brother, one of a kind brother in-law beloved son in-law, extraordinary uncle, irreplaceable nephew and awesome friend, who was so funny and always joking. Dedicated to always putting his family who was so important to him first, Karl enjoyed spending his free time with family or friends at the beach. Karl was a journeyman roofer and carpenter where he worked with numerous companies throughout his career. His last employer was Barnett Construction where he was a well liked, a dependable employee and co-worker. Karl was born in Kahuku on January 22, 1963. He was the youngest of 11 children and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kalama Ah Quin and Irene Katherine Steiner, Karl's twin sister Gertrude and brother Henry "Hunts". He is survived by: His loving Wahine Davenette Kahealani "Sweetheart" Souza, sons: Kawika Souza and Karl Kalanikoa Ah Quin, twin daughters: Ku'uleihiwa "Honey Girl" and Ku'uleimakamae "Baby Girl" Ah Quin. Brothers: Charlie (Rosaline), Robert (Fay), Benny, Zachary and David. Sisters: Mayrose Mathews, Maryann Wise and Irene (Rueben) Aho of Tacoma, Washington. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at Kualoa Beach Park on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Service begins at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch. Casual attire. Forever In Our Hearts
