THOMAS MASAJI OKUMA November 20, 1919 - May 22, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Masaji Okuma, retired minister and professor from Hawaii Loa College, announces his death on May 22, 2013, after a brief hospitalization. He was 93 years old. His beloved wife, Naomi Chafin Okuma and son, David Masaji Okuma preceded him in death. Thomas is survived by daughters, Yuki Okuma Leon and Katy (Michael) White, daughter-in-law, Ann Yakuma (Reid and Kristi Yakuma); granddaughters, Lisa (Jack) Coffey and Angelica Leon; great grandchildren, Jack and Mariko Coffey; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 5 p.m. at Church of the Crossroads, Honolulu, in Weaver Hall. Informal attire. No flowers.
