ERIC STEPHEN FLOWER Age 65, of Makakilo, a retired librarian at the University of Hawaii-West O'ahu, passed away on July 12, 2013. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, he earned a B.A. in Economics at C.W. Post College of Long Island University and degrees in Economics and Library Service from the University of Maine at Orono. He was Editor of Computers in Libraries magazine as well as the author of articles and papers on librarianship, competitive analysis and strategies in the electronic information environment, and the use of streaming video in distributed education. He is survived by wife Kam; son Christopher; sister Carolyn Flower-Lepore, brother Stephen and a grandson.
