YAEKO UEDA FENN AND JOSEPH F. FENNYAEKO UEDA FENN AND JOSEPH F. FENN 88, beloved Mother, Aunt, Sister & friend passed peacefully at her home at the Hawaii Kai Retirement Community under the compassionate care given by Hospice Hawaii & Attention Plus caregivers. A retired homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, playing the Koto, and dancing traditional Okinawa dances. Born in Okinawa, married in 1951, then came to Hawaii in 1952 as a young bride with the love of her life, Joseph F Fenn. Married for 57 glorious years when he passed in 2008. Daily she'd say "Daddy no-come get me yet." Early morning July 20, 2013, Daddy came & Mom is happy to be reunited with him. Survived by daughter, Denise Chiemi Hokulani Fenn, brothers, Tsugio (Hatsuko), Sadao (Ikuko), sisters Humiko Oshiro & Miyoko Kohama, nieces, nephews, & friends. She was predeceased by brother, Kazuo Ueda. Private Services & inurnment were held at the Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific on Daddy's Birthday.
