Thomas Earl Hawthorne Jr., 72, of Kalaheo, Kauai, a United Airlines control maintenance supervisor and a Navy veteran, died at home. He is survived by wife Marlene C., daughter Brenda, stepdaughter Renee' Kester, four stepsons and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Celebration of life at a later date. No flowers. Donations suggested to Kauai Hospice.
