Joseph "Gene" Jelcick, 90, of DuPont, Wash., a retired Air Force colonel, died in Olympia, Wash. He was born in Sunnyvale, Calif. He is survived by wife Coral; sons Thomas, Terry and James; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services to be announced. Donations suggested to Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders, Hawaii or Guam, in care of Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1611 Kewalo St., Honolulu, HI 96822-3134.
