74Melinda Lou Olival, 82, of Hilo, a retired employee of the Queen's Medical Center, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons James M. Jr. and Clarence J. Silva, daughter Carol Ann Sales, brothers Robert and Harold Germano, sisters Ethel Banley and Marie Kittrell, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
