CAPT. (USN RET.) THOMAS LEO HORNER, SR. 97, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2013. He retired as Chief of Staff COM14, CINCPAC Fleet, Pearl Harbor and Senior Account Executive at Insurance Associates Inc. He was a veteran of WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was born in Mohall, N. Dakota. He is survived by wife, Philomena T. Horner; sons, Thomas M. and Thomas L., Jr. Horner; daughters, Sandra M. Bourquin and Michele A. Horner; brother, Paul Horner; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Star of the Sea Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire. No flowers.
