Tai Young Chung, 83, of Hilo, an Army veteran who served in the Korean War and an engineer at the Hawaii County Department of Water Supply, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Myrtle, daughter Siara Acdal, sister Ruth Shigezawa and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private services.
