70Rose V. Alip, 71, of Kailua-Kona, a retired Hilo Medical Center paramedical assistant and former bus driver at Laupahoehoe Transportation Co. and Bragado Bus Service, died in the Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Waipio Valley, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Leroy; sons Leroy Jr., Robert and Dwayne; daughter Carrie Pung; brother John Ventura; sisters Josephine Amaral, Priscilla Hetrick, Carmen Green and Antonia Balicanta; 20 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Honokaa. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Honokaa County Cemetery. Casual attire.
