80Joseph Kalani Naniwa Tachibana, 74, of Kalaheo, Kauai, a retiree of The Kauai Bus and co-proprietor of an Omao nursery, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Patricia; sons Ellsworth Kaohi, and Joseph, David and Lawrence Tachibana; daughters Roslyn Choi, Maile Nawatani and Kimberly Kaohi; brother Jacob Martins; sisters Minerva Deponte and Dorothy Smith; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Sept. 21 at Holy Cross Church, Kalaheo. Mass: 10 a.m. Casual attire.
