George Keoki Kela, 66, of California, a retired Bekins truck driver in Los Angeles and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Long Beach, Calif. He was born in Keaukaha. He is survived by wife Colleen L.; son John; daughters Emmalani and Stacie K. Kela, and Kristen Kela-Liggins; brothers Richard Sr. and Eric; sisters Ellen Lainaholo, Patience Brown and Laverne Lewis; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Celebration of life:10 a.m. Oct. 5 at Puhi Bay.
