72John Juan Jason Hanog, 80, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a retired mechanic at the former Hilo Coast Processing Co., a bartender and Hawaii Security and Investigation security guard, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Barbara P.M.; daughters Jackie Pavao, Jasmine Okunami and Joyce Yafuso; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Papaikou, Hawaii. Mass: 10 am. Private urn committal services.
