Charles "Dexter" Lufkin, 80, of Kaneohe, a physician and a Navy veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Minneapolis. He is survived by wife Marilyn "Mary Lou," son Kirk C., daughters Faye Lite and Beth Auten, brother Murray, sister Elizabeth Hardisty and 10 grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to Hawaii Opera Theatre.
