Chester Opaon, 56, of Kapolei, a carpenter and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Jacqueline L.; brothers Dennis Opaon and Steven, Fonte, Ricky and Stanford Catugal; and sisters Dee Merriles, Valerie Vierra, Joan Davenport, Kris Klask and Pauline Stropp. Services: noon Monday at Sand Island New Hope Church. Casual attire.
