10-16 567320  Mae KatsumotoMAE TSUNENO KATSUMOTO Age 91, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully at home October 3, 2013. Born on October 15, 1921 in Papaiko, Hawaii, she was a caregiver at home “baby sitting”. She married the love of her life, “Charlie”. They were married for over 50 years! Aunty Mae, with an exceptional, jovial, magnetic personality, brought joy to everyone around her. Active in the PTA, Boy Scouts, and community, she also loved to crochet and garden and had a passion for traveling and for music. She will be deeply missed by sons George Katsumoto (Amy), Harold “Hal” Katsumoto, Michael (Yoonja) Katsumoto; daughter Edna “Eddie” Ellington (Dave Watts); and grandchildren Kaile and Korie Katsumoto. Also sisters, Kikue Iwanaka; Sakae (Jim) Hawley; Kiyono Yoshida; Kazue (Bob) Kawano. Visitation: 5:00 PM Saturday, October 19 at Makiki Christian Church, 829 Pensacola St. Celebration of Life: 5:30 PM. Casual Attire. No flowers.
