72Elliott Clark Mattos, 78, of Kailua, a retired Honolulu police sergeant, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Catherine E. Aldrich; son Elliott-Kyle; daughters Leslie Gooch, Nileen-Kawailani Colon and Traci-Q Ostermiller; brother Wilfred; sister Joan A. Kaaiai; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
