John Richard Doherty, 55, of Waipahu, a Marine Corps veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Abington, Mass. He is survived by wife Imelda T., stepson Benjamin Templo, stepdaughter Maria Templo, mother Celia, sisters Lisa M. Doherty and Eileen Corcoran, four stepgrandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Sunday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, 20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. Monday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
