JOSEPH AYALA LOPES Age 91, of Pearl City, passed away Sept 30, 2013. He was born on February 10, 1922, in North Kona, HI. He retired after 30 years with Pearl Harbor Public Works and 12 years at the Oahu Country Club. He is survived by wife, Gladys M. Chang-Lopes; children, Roger Lopes-James, Mearl Cooper, Darlene (Charlie) Stansell, Janice Akau (Dan Kaawa), Masie Lopes and Naomi Chang-Damon; 17 grand- children, 34 great-grand- children and 2 great-great- granddaughters.
