TOSHIKO WESTPHALEN Crossed over to be with the Lord on Sunday October 20, 2013after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Harold Westphalen Jr for 63 years and mother of her Son Harold III. She also leaves behind a large extended family of loving in-laws and very large family in her native country of Japan. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vancouver. Prior to moving here in 2007, she served the poor as an active member of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Hawaii for over 40 years. She was also a recognized International Water Color Artist, Hula Teacher, outstanding and loving homemaker, Her wit, humorand talents will be missed will be missed by all who knew her. She will be returning to Kaneohe Hawaii, where she spent the greater part of her life, in order to be buried in a place where she often enjoyed viewing and painting the beautiful Hawaiian Koolau mountains and beauty of the nearby Ocean surf. Funeral Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church 46-129 Haiku Road; Kaneohe Visitation- 10:30-12:30 p.m. Mass- 12:45 p.m. Burial- 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery
