He was the retired owner & operator of Rutan Refrigeration Inc., Kauai, Hi. He is survived by his wife Rene Rutan, Kauai Hi., brother William (Carla) Rutan, Nieces Jennifer Jorgensen, Brianna Rutan, Grandniece Chloe Jorgensen of Ventura CA, & Sue (Glen) McEwen of Peoria, AZ.
