MARY MEW ON LUM Mary Mew On Lum, 88, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospice in Nuuanu on October 7, 2013. She was a retired Administrative Clerk with the Social Security Administration in Oakland, California. She lived in San Francisco 50 plus years and returned to Hawaii about 15 years ago. She was the 7th of 12 children born to Chan & Young Kiam Lum. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers: Walter, Lawrence, Harris, and Reuben "Sana" Lum and sister: Violet Okuhara. She is survived by brothers: Edwin "Ah Hook," Melvin, and Alvin Lum, and sisters: Grace Yap, Mildred Young, Florence Lau, and many nieces and nephews. Private service.
