Ryan Alena Kaimana Kuhio Poepoe Kalama, 58, of Waimanalo, a kahu and president of the Kailua Hawaiian Civic Club, and an Air Force veteran, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Anthony A. and Richard R. Kalama, and Steve Ireland; and 10 grandchildren. Celebration of life: 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Kailua Beach Park pavilion, near Lanikai boat ramp. Casual attire. Lei and loose flowers welcome.
