MARIETTA BARBARA MARR Age 83, of Mililani Town, passed away October 18, 2013 in Mililani with loving family around her. Born April 10, 1930 to the late Harry D. and Barbara Blake Sr. in Roswell, New Mexico. Marietta graduated from Roswell High and attended the University of New Mexico before marrying William “Bill” Marr in 1950. She was an exemplary military wife and participated in organizations as the Women’s Assistance League of Hawaii. Marietta held her family together with determination and love wherever the Army took them. She was a giving friend to many. She and her family made Hawaii home in 1967. Thank you to all the staff at the Plaza @ Mililani and the St. Francis Hospice care. Her last years and hours were made comfortable because of you. Marietta is survived by 3 children: Blake K. Marr (Pam), Grace Lynn Coombes (Jerry), and James K. Marr (June). Grandmother to 6: Kristopher (Kim) & Timothy (Mariane) Marr, Michael (Yvonne) & Robert Coombes, and Brianna (Sam Kahoopii and Melissa Marr.
