DOREEN KALOLOWOHILANI (DUNN) MATSUNAGA Doreen Matsunaga passed away on October 12, 2013. She was born in Honolulu on November 9, 1930 to Hildred (Bryant) Kaholokula and Henry Vasconcellos. Raised on Maui, Doreen was a graduate of St. Anthony High School. She later settled in Honolulu where she worked at the Sty, Hartfield's, and Zales Jewelers. She moved to Kwajalein (Marshall Islands) in 1977 and remained for 35 years. She leaves behind her husband, James "Jimmy" Matsunaga; sons Darrell (Jackie) Sing and Byron Sing of Haiku, Maui; and daughter Serena. Services will be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Sunday, November 17, 2013 with visitation at 2:00 pm and services at 3:00 pm.
