ERNEST PIMENTAL SOARES 06/09/1923 - 11/11/2013 Ernie, born in Pepeekeo was the 16th of 19 children born to Manuel and Sophia Soares. He was a veteran of WWII. He worked for Craig & Co. here and on Kwajalein. Later he worked at Pearl Harbor then transferred to Long Beach Shipyard where he worked on the USS Missouri and the New Jersey. His hobby was making dollhouses, and enjoyed donating many to charities. He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth "Sharon" (George) Dole; Ernestine "Ernie" (Darrel) Cabinatan; son Ernest "Rick" (Vera) Alvarez; Sister Violet; Brother William; 11 grand- children and 22 great-grand- children. Visitation: 10 am on Thursday 11/21 at Borthwick Mortuary, Services: 12am. Burial: 3 pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
