Incencio "Sancho" Efhan, 82, of Kapaa, Kauai, a retired cook for the Kauai Surf Hotel and Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, and a veteran of the Marine Corps and Coast Guard, died at home. He was born in Kapaa. He is survived by wife Mercedes; sons Gregory "Teo" and Aaron; daughters Bernie Nakae, Suzie Efhan, Sherrie Duterte, Val Yadao and Lulu Cummings; brothers Gary, Vicente and Henry; hanai brother Larry Ephan; hanai sister Lorraine; 23 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life: 9 a.m. Dec. 7 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery Pavilion. Inurnment to follow.
