He is survived by wife Ululani M.; sons Kaimipono and Hokulea; daughters Haanou Medeiros and Ko Olina; stepmother Roberta; brothers Terry Takeuchi, Piere and Sailor LaFortune, and Reid Land Hacoba; sisters Harlette and Rochelle LaFortune; grandmother Hattie Takeuchi; and three grandchildren.
