CHARLES ELIOT WHEELER Charlie Wheeler, 69, lost his brave three year battle with cancer on November 14. The son of Richard and Louise Wheeler, Charlie was born in Honolulu on August 24, 1944. He was a Mortgage Broker for 25 years and especially loved the challenge of helping people secure financing after they had been told by others it wasn't possible. Charlie was passionate about many things; good food, music, the new golf swing he just perfected, to name a few. He is survived by wife June, son Craig, daughter Julie Chopra, brother Curtis, sisters Anne Noble and Ellen Guest and 2 grandchildren. Visitation 1 pm Saturday, Dec 7 at Punahou Chapel followed by Memorial Service at 2pm. Casual/Aloha Attire. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, Prostate Cancer Research or charity of your choice.
