James Evans McLean, 84, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. Postal Service carrier and an Army veteran who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Chieko, son James M., sister Marie Zane and two grandchildren. Private services.
