William Gerald Chung
Nov. 12, 2013 William Gerald "Bill" Chung, 63, of Kailua, a nuclear propulsion engineer and assistant nuclear chief test engineer for the Navy, director of labor relations for Hawaiian Electric Co., vice president of human resources and labor relations for Young Bros. and a professor at the University of Hawaii's Shidler College of Business, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Myrna Mazzola Zezza; mother Margaret Chung; hanai mother Sue Marcotte Sutton; hanai brothers Eric Anderson, Dale Baugh, Lee Davis, Dennis DuRoff, Dennis Jennings, William Noyes, Jim Radican, Toomas Tuulse and Dwight Yanaga; and five hanai grandchildren. Visitation: 2 p.m. Saturday at Windward United Church of Christ, 38 Kaneohe Bay Drive, Kailua. Services: 3 p.m. No flowers. Donations suggested to The Institute for Human Services Inc., Seva Foundation, Sothern Poverty Law Center or United States Naval Academy Foundation.
