72Betty Mieko Kuniyasu, 83, of Pearl City, a retired Department of Education educational assistant, died in Honolulu. She was born in Lahaina. She is survived by sons Kurt and Keith; daughter Karrie Maeda; brothers Teruyuki and Shoji Yamamoto and Itsuo Kusuda; sister Setsuko Lopes; and a grandchild. Private services.
