73John Isamu Tamanaha, 96, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter, died in Los Angeles. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by son Philip; daughters Karen Fujioka, Velma Smith, Beryl Inouye and Naomi Tramblie; sister Florence; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Private services.
