80Bessie Naleinani Kanahele, 80, of Kekaha, Kauai, a lead singer for Niihau Church, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on Niihau. She is survived by sons Uilama H.I.I., Apolani and Brian K. Kanahele, and Kenneth K. Jr. and Barney Shintani; daughters Dolores Niau, Dale E. Kanahele, Judie Shintani and Laurie Pahulehua; sister Kamala Garcia; 22 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Garden Island Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery. Casual attire.
