Bonifacio Asuncion Garcia, 79, of Lahaina, a Pioneer Mill Sugar Plantation truck driver, died in Henderson, Nev. He was born in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by sons Rollin and Edison; daughters Marilyn Alvarez, Marjorie Mercado, Mary Ann Fabozzi and Marinette Garcia; brother Ernesto; sisters Socorro “Coring” Serna and Lydia Saribay; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Maria Lanakila Church, Lahaina. Mass: 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial: 11 a.m. at Valley Isle Memorial Park, Haiku, Maui.
