78Donald Kalaniopuu Yamada, 82, of Hilo, retired president of Yamada and Sons, died at home. He was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Robert M., Kelly L., Weston K., Curtis A. and Garry L.; daughter Donna K. Miller; brother Ronald; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
