74Ethel Miyoko Uyeda, 89, of Honolulu, a retired benefits counselor for the Veterans Administration, died in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by daughters Natalie Higa and Holly Kiyonaga; brothers Harold and George Hayakawa; sisters Mae Murakami, Lillian Tompkins and Nancy Shimbukuro; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 2 p.m. Saturday at Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin. Services: 3 p.m. Casual attire.
