Haruo "Danny" Muraki, 90, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. government painter at Fort Shafter and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Infantry Regiment Headquarters Company during World War II, died at home. He was born in Aiea. He is survived by wife Velma A.; daughter Lorna R. Luna; caregiver Mark Luna; sisters Fumiko R. Tsunoda, Mildred Tochiki and Hanayo Hoshino; and a grandchild. Visitation: 1 p.m. Sunday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 2 p.m. Casual attire. Additional information for an obituary published Monday.
