JANE BALVODI NIKAIDO Age 81, passed away in Honolulu on December 24, 2013. She was born on November 10, 1932 in Haiku, Maui. She was a retired English, journalism and Yearbook teacher at Kalani High School. Jane is survived by her husband, George M.; sons, Mark H. (Allison) and Keith S. (Gay) Nikaido; daughters Lynne (Noel) Torigoe and Caryn M. N. Hashimoto; brothers James (Edith) and Silvestre (Patricia) Balvodi; sisters Ramona (Benjamin) Aquirre, Mary Ayres and Rita (Arnie) Nordquist; 11 grand- children and 1 great grand- child.
