80Cynthia Duarte, 64, of Wailua, Kauai, a retired construction laborer and landscaper, died at home. She was born on Kauai. She is survived by husband Bernard; sons Cedrick, John I and John II Waipa, and Brendan Duarte; stepsons Bernard Jr. and Jonathan Duarte; stepdaughter Maile Duarte-Rego; sister Eileen Bascon; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9-10 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Church, Kapaa, Kauai. Mass to follow.
