Edward George "Tim" O'Brien, 84, of Waikoloa, Hawaii, hotel general manager for Rock Resorts in the Virgin Islands and a Navy veteran, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He is survived by wife Mari, son Robert, daughters Kathy Kent and Karyn Mashima, sister Rita Alexander, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
