74Katherine Kapahu Painter, also known as "Kanani" and "Luana," 69, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a security guard, died at home. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by son Leon Norton; daughter Shirley Ann Painter-Cox; brothers John Kaimimoku, Lawrence Sayurin, John Lopis and Michael and Nathan Herring; sisters Nadine Maglasang, Cyndy Kaimimoku, Anna Mae Balalilo, Sybil Kalima, Amy Entendencia and Marsha Carr; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
