Ray Wesley Gillespie, 71, of Kailua-Kona, an Army retiree and a state retiree, died in Seattle. He was born in Leavenworth, Kan. He is survived by wife Paula, sons Kelly and Sean, mother Dorothy, brothers Joe and Gary, sister Jean Dunnigan and three grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel tent location on Honokohau Street. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Inurnment at noon at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
