John "Jack" Sayles, 83, of Honolulu, a retired engineer and an Air Force veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Chicago. He is survived by son GregÂory, daughter Audrey Beatty and two grandchildren. Services and scattering of ashes: 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Calvary by the Sea Church.
