Atsushi Yamano, 86, of Hilo, a self-employed painting contractor and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honaunau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Toshiko; daughter Sharon H. Ogi; brothers Hisa shi and Takao; sisters Shi geko Morihara, Itsuko Yamano and Mitsue Suzuki; and three grandchildren. No services.
