ROBERT SUEO OURA May 5, 1936 to Jan. 20, 2014 Robert "Bob" Sueo Oura, 77, beloved father, retired DOD accountant and US Army veteran, peacefully transitioned in San Francisco, surrounded by family. Bob was the last of 7 siblings who grew up in the Maruyama plantation camp in Lahaina; he moved to Honolulu after serving in the Army. In 2012, Bob relocated to SF to live closer to his children and was wined and dined at AgeSong. He is sorely missed by children Eri & Kyle Oura, daughter-in- law Cindy Chen, and extended family who remember him as their favorite Uncle. Memorial ceremony held at 8:15 AM on Friday, January 31, at Punchbowl Cemetery, Committal Court (2177 Puowaina Dr) to be buried next to wife, Toshiko, a former Pan Am flight attendant who passed in 1987.
