WILLIAM A. WILLIAMS
WILLIAM A. WILLIAMS WILLIAMS, Williams A (Bill) - of Belleair, Florida passed away February 13, 2013. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Harry and Mabel Williams. He volunteered into the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and served in China and Okinawa where he was wounded and received his first Purple Heart. He continued his career in the Marines with Honorable service through the Vietnam War earning a second Purple Heart and numerous Combat Awards for his Honorable service to our great nation. After he retired from the military he worked for the Hertz Corporation as the Wholesale Fleet Manager for the Hawaiian Islands for 20 plus years. He also served on many charitable and law enforcement board of directors. Mr. Williams was a Lifetime Member of the Disabled American Veteran's Chapter 11 of Clearwater, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife, Ramona and son, Gunner Bill. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, February 26 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 411 Turner St, Clearwater, FL 33756 with graveside service immediately following at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
