73Alfredo Valdez Bartolome Sr., also known as "Fred" and "Pidong," 81, of Waipahu, a Sheraton Waikiki Hotel retiree, died in Aiea. He was born in Laoag City, Philippines. He is survived by wife Antipas T. "Paz"; sons James and Bernard; daughter Betty Peralta; brother Alex; sisters Evangeline Lagman, Maisy Pidong, Natividad Beltran, Veronica Pagurayan and Norma Laroya; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
