Raymond "Kako" Medeiros, 94, of Wailuku, a merchant seaman who served in World War II and a retired Maui Police Department police officer, died in Hale Makua under hospice care. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by wife Cyrilla P., son Donald A., brothers James and Stanley, sister Norma Pendelton, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Private services.
